Last week, our lawyers Borja Chastang and Camilo Jaramillo Samper took part in the 8th TRADE Annual Conference/12th Antitrust Annual Conference of AIJA – International Association of Young Lawyers in Amsterdam.
This conference brought together young antitrust professionals from all over the world to explore current developments in competition law, debate key issues and strengthen networks.
Our Senior Associate Borja was on the Organising Committee and actively contributed to the design and execution of insightful academic sessions that sparked engaging discussions around the implementation of the VBER, private enforcement in digital markets, latest developments in merger control, recent developments in digital regulation and dynamic pricing.
Our Associate Camilo spoke on a panel alongside colleagues from other jurisdictions, addressing national particularities and challenges of merger control thresholds, call-in powers and merger referrals in light of Illumina/Grail.
A big thank you to AIJA, the speakers and the entire organising team for making this such a successful event. We’re proud to see our team actively contributing to the global antitrust dialogue.
