The opening celebration of FORCYD’s Madrid office brought together a distinguished group of experts to discuss some of the key issues surrounding competition damages claims and proceedings before competition authorities.

The event centred on an engaging panel discussion featuring Carlos Menor, Jerónimo Maillo González-Orús and our partner Alfonso Rincón García Loygorri, expertly moderated by Alberto de Juan Saiz.

While Carlos Menor and Jerónimo Maíllo shared their insights on “Dawn Raids and Forensic Preparation” and “The Directive on Representative Actions”, respectively, Alfonso addressed “The CNMC Decision as a Weapon in Civil Litigation”, focusing on the practical challenges of follow-on competition damages actions in Spain and, more importantly, on where the real battle is fought once a CNMC decision has become final and binding.
